When i went to see my relatives in Guam years and years ago, i remember eating one. The meat was a little sweeter then a shrimp or spiny lobster...if i remember correctly, that was awhile back. I remember it was good though!

IF you can find a breeder (like at a university lab or hobbyist) you might be able to get one. These crabs were red listed a few years back and are illegal to harass or capture in the wild.

I believe it's the largest land invertebrate in the world but not the largest species of crab. Those king crabs or whatever on the show "Deadliest Catch" get bigger.

you can get them in marshal islands an the upper islands same place you can get the napolean wrasse

There is also a similar species found in the carribean that is still common, do you know anyone in Jamaica? They are everywhere there.
