I have Glasses and Contact. I wear my Contacts when I feel like looking good for the world to see...otherwise, I wear my Glasses. I wear my Glasses at home.

I have a stigma and I tried contacts 4 years ago and they never fit right,drove me nuts,would go blurry,just crazy,are they better now?
 
Lasik!! i got 20/15 meaning I see stuff that the 20/20 can't see Lol
Best decision I ever made in my life.
I highly recommend it for those who thought about it.
Do your research on the Dr. you choose to go to. Its not the quantitie$, its the quality.

I have astigmatism also. I've been wearing contacts for 15 years. I haven't had a problem with them. Ask for Focus Toric Lens.

heck Im only an hour or so from you.I may hit you up for a good eye doc soon,it takes like 2 months to get in one here.I thought toric were the hard ones,and your are comfy,did I just have a crap doc?
 
20/400 distance vision, so yeah i wear glasses.:nilly:
 
Rigid contacts for 6 years now, I am afraid to do lasik because members of my family got
cataract and I heard a cataract operation isn't possible after lasik surgery. So for now, I am happy with my contacts.

Nah...they're soft lens. I tried the hard lens because the original doctor I had said that those are best for astigmatism. They felt like I had a rock in my eyes every day I had them in. I could only stand it for a couple of hours at most. I couldn't even take them out without this special "plunger" So I switched to soft even though he said it's not going to help my astigmatism. But I go to Kaiser Permente for my eye exam.
