Anybody breed Corydoras! They're a other catfish I'm considering for my 75 I'm converting to a catfish tank after visiting my friends LFS todos and seeing longfin albino Aeneus and possibly breed them :)

Bump for some attention to Corydoradinae. Doesn't seem like many people on here keep them, it's the opposite of my local fish club where you rarely see people talking about catfish other than Corys and Plecos.

thinking I have around 2 dozen in my 220. I know there is bronze, and I have at least 3 other kinds. just don't remember their name

Noice, feel free to post pictures and maybe I can ID them for you. After all this is the best we have since there is no longer a Cory forum (should be :)).

Everyone is over-compensating for something in their lives with their ''monster fish''. I guess it isn't cool or tough if you just keep community fish. I'm cool with it :)

I accidentally bred my pair of peppereds... literally completely unintentional... I got a phone call saying there was a half cm baby cory in the tank...

I'm a bit of a cory nut. I've got groups of adolphoi, sterbai, brochis, agazzasi, pandas, paleatus, orange lazer, metae, and a handful of undescribed species that came mixed in with others out of SA. Barbatus is next on my list

Barbatus is on my bucket list...

Lately I've had 8 leopards, and 2 pandas.

But before I've had mostly aenus, but I remember I had (many years ago) one bearded Cory (barbatus), that one was my favorite.

A LFS has some in my area, I would love to have them, but I'm not sure yet because of other fish I'm considering that requires higher temps.

But I'm considering several different ones to maybe go in my 190, but sterbai is probably my favorite at the moment.

Some strange cory behavior? I was doing my nightly tank checks and noticed the tail of my albino cory protruding out of the sand. Instant sadness. I opened the lid and reached in to remove it and as my fingers touched the very tip of the tail out he popped. He had been munching something on the very bottom of the tank almost totally buried. Have kept corys for years and have never seen this. Surprise and relief.
