They have just not faded and may never fade to orange/yellow. I have 2 of those, one has yet to fade and the other is about halfway faded.

This is the one who has faded. First pic is when I bought her, second pic is a month after I bought her, and the last is a month ago. I have had her a little over a year now.

Anyone with the expertise know if this is a 100% king kong parrot? Its not red, nut a very nice tone orange and pink.
 
Anyone with the expertise know if this is a 100% king kong parrot? Its not red, but a very nice tone orange. Super docile to other calm tankmates. It swims and looks like a parrot hybrid, but not too sure which is the other. Thanks.

Yes it appears to be a King Kong Parrot.

Thanks for the feedbacks. It was sold as a red devil. I had a really good hunch it was a parrot fish, perhaps a king kong or another hybrid mix with a parrot. Tried to convince the store it was a parrot due to his/her obvious docile behavior and characteristics, but it was a no no no, it's a red devil. Bought it anyways cuz coloring was fantastic and behavior would suit well with my redhead severums.

That goes to show how little is known about the species that are different of what we normally think of parrots from our traditional box stores.
