THE DEAD FISH THREAD!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
so one of my kids just tells me big fish on the floor!

I am figuring good thing I am here I can put it back, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
it has to be big dead fish dried out on the floor.

It seems that my wc alpha male decided to jump from my front tank, dang!!!!

I just took a pic of him and will post it later.

I bet as he was laying there gasping for breath he thought better of the idea.

here are two pics of him I took a few weeks ago

on the brighter side at least this solves his beef with the 2 upcoming males and gives me more time to leave this tank before I have to set up a 3rd and give them more space

Hello, I am new here. However this thread may be a little morbid, dead pets, people talking about eating their pets, saving them in the freezer, saving their bones and such. It made me realize, I really do appreciate the species of FISH! Dead or Alive!, They are wonderfull creatures and as unfortunate as death may be, it is part of life.
Thank you for sharing your lives with me, Richard

Unfortunately i would eventually have to join this thread sooner or later. And to my distaste, it was sooner :(

Well i lost 2 of my 5 dats in the first 48 hours of them being in my tank. Gill flukes. Don't trust small scale dealers that are selling a bunch of fish IMO

SAD DAY...

RIP White Wiener

Sorry for your loss bro, I had a 13 inch that looked just like that died on me along with a 12 inch jardini all in one day... kid unplugged all of my filtration and air and i cam home four hours later to find that and a bunch of my loaches almost dead.

Not too sure it was fine one day and the next day... not so much.

I underestimated my arowana. Bob managed to knock off the top of his tank, weights and all, and jump out. My one comfort is that he did not suffocate-he was so powerful that he hit the opposite wall (12 feet away) and broke his neck. He didn't suffer.

I didn't take pictures, but he was 26 inches long.

I'll miss him so much.
