He had his choice of goldfish, fathead minnows, platy's, guppies, crayfish, and the pellets and flakes I fed those.
But he never chose to eat anything other than goldfish and fatheads. From what i seen.
IMO I ruled out his diet not being nutritious because he grew 8 inches in 6 months. And most people told me that he would grow to be 6-8 inches in the first year. Well he surpassed that growth rate in 6 months.
