Tanx for your concern guys! I picked him up with a plastic gloves (the kind that my mother uses when handling food) because I tried to pick my oscars once and I got cut on my hands. He is still on the corner breading hard. I put some mefix on the water and turn on the air bubles. And just so you guys no he is not just an oscar. I had had him when he was like 2 in and now he is more that 10in and was doing gud in my tank till now. I know all of you guys have better expensive types of cichlids, but for me a broke college student, them Oscars are my Monsters for now.
Ouch! Next, you're going to tell him that "bited" is not a word.
he's from missouri, texas "bited" is a word there.

I never had an oscar jump out of the tank. So far, only fish I had that jumped out to it's death, are asian aros. That hurt alot!
The dog bite might be fatal. Dehydration for oscars could also lead to body fungus, because of the loss of slime.
Yeah, fish definitely does not have the reasoning capability to differentiate safety, and hazard.
The super glue and latch idea by guppy is a great idea. If that is difficult, you can use ducktape to seal open areas.

1.Being a foreigner also means knowing how to speak 36 different languages and know how to write in 4 of them. 2- Ohh and it also means that you had the highest SAT Score of your whole high school graduating class, 3- knowing how to treat people with respect. 4- Could possiable mean that you had lots of monster fishes before coming to the States, and never had to buy one. 5- and my favorite of all, it might mean that your girl most likely, like my acsent and thinks I m hot. 
But naw being a foreigner might just means that you addicted to MFK because it rocks!
