I lost a JD like that a few months ago. I have no idea why he jumped . I came into the room where his tank was and he was stuck to the carpet . Try some stresscoat and some aquarium salt to help him recover. If he was bitten by your dog try melafix it works wonders.

this is true. i am guilty of making fun of people that have english as their second language. you are right, it is unfair for some of us, including me to make fun, and insult other ethnicity because they have a different language. it is disrespectful. it's mostly sarcasm, and foreigners like you and me do not have a complete grasp of it. so, on behalf of the people of the MFK population, i am sorry for the disrespect. what country are you from?

AWWW Dont worry about it! I m from Luanda, Angola. Its located in the Southwest Coast of Africa between Congo and Namibia. I didnt think you guys were trying to disrespect me but to correct me, and I dont mind being corrected specially if it will help me vast my little knowledge.
But anyways I have a JD right now and he is about 9 to 10 ins (very colorfull)
I was woundering if ppl (people) where are wiling to trade or buy my Red Zebras, JD, Oscars and some other Africans? if so plz pm me and we will talk.

UPDATE: My Oscar is doing much better, he was fighting with the other fishes in the tank. He is the big bully, no wounder why he jumped.
Ohh I almost forgot I think I have a crack on the botton of my tank, because the water keeps going down after 4 days or a week by like 3 ins. I really dont feel like taking all the fish out and the rocks to check it out!

nah you dont have a crack in the tank its just evaporating its natural i keep 1 gallon jugs full of water under my tank and just top them off when i notice this

Fish always seem to be waiting to jump out of the tank, how many people have had to grab slimy ,floppy arowanas and put them back into the tank with little bits of carpet all over them, it sucks! Hope the oscar recovers,
