This thread goes a lot deeper than "different people like different things". This is an animal that has a genetic deformity that could weaken its species if allowed to breed.
This isnt a fish with a missing barbel or a torn fin.

Nature dosent allow deformed and weaker animals to survive for a reason... Natures cruel but if left if left to do its thing, is brutally efficient. If deformed or inferior fish/animals breed, the offspring weaken the genetics of their species and this is not something to be encouraged by paying/charging high prices for.

Thats why its wrong on a scientific level, not a "Shame the poor little deformed fish" level.

so does that mean we can do the same to humans just because thay are deformed we can kill them because it is better for our breed. im sarry it just pisses me off when people say that. there is nothing else wrong with the being but the way the body is shaped yet people want to kill them. if there were health problems it will die but if there isent y kill it for being different?
 
tp i think it is a really nice looking fish. i for one have had sb fish before i had a 24" sb channel cat lol small tail huge head. and i know it isent a monster but i have an angle fish that was born without a forehead looks funny but has more agressition then my russien angle lol nice find keep us posted and thank for sharing. :D

more than 2.5k for a fish that looks like a heart parrot thats crazy in my eyes

but hey if the buyer happy then the seller is 1000000% happy thats for sure

its strange how a high price tag make a fish look soooooo much better than it is

i understand that if its what you like thats what you buy but that kind of thing is not for me a tank full of SB fish is like a freak show if it was human you would have a beaded lady and a few very tall men and some very small ones

It's the price or the fish or both that's sore to you.

To me the fish is candy to me, price is sore but I really like the fish. Instead of getting a king Aro which I always wanted, I didn't thinking king Aro is quite common now, but not this.

Btw the seller is sad as he lose his pet he love so dearly. Yes you going to say but now a idot bought it at a crazy price, right?

The fish looks cute n nice to quite a few ppl not to mentioned other forum. It has never been the price, it does not make the fish look any better. It's you who cannot accept me paying such price for a ugly defect fish right.

Yes it would be so lovely to have a tank full of these sb IT, mixed with other sb.

To summarize your post in short: ugly defect fish, stupid man paid a crazy price. Can't stand it.

Such narrow minded simply cannot understand. Just too stubborn to accept. Well my last reply to you. Enjoy fish u can easily find everywhere.

Well I agreed with T1K, the quality of tiger fish should look like tiger which look arrogant not like hearth parrot which look cute. Well SB could be unique but not a quality tiger fish after all. We should not judge the quality of a tiger fish as cute but rather arrogant, fierce, etc the boss of all fish.

If the turn "cute" should be go for tiger fish its should be call "terrybear" fish not tiger fish.

I could not stop some ppl to like SB but I just give my opinion here. Sorry if I hurt somebody for being telling the thruth here.
 
Very nice and rare piece indeed. I would sleep soundly if I own such an extraordinary specimen. A datnoid with a body shape like saltwater butterfly fish. Thanks for sharing.

Just enjoy your fish, and don't care about what other thought.. It's your fish, your prize, not their. Keep us update on how it's becoming! I'm envy.
