Wow you guys, what a lot of responses. I posted this right before I went to bed last night and had no idea I'd get so many so quick.

Deffinately worth the $20 plus the meds. Beauty of a save!!

Thanks darth. I didn't really even spend money on meds. Thanks to ModestMan, I used household Neosporin to kill her bacterial infection. Other than that, some salt and daily water changes fixed her up. She's still healing even more and that scar will be less noticable I think.

What happened to that female festae you had that followed your dovii around everywhere?

That female lost all her stripes and black dorsal fin and turned into the male you see here.

I don't know, I bought her with a big chunk taken out of her. You could see the white meat inside her it was so deep. The lfs guy said the guy that sold him to them told him it was in an all Festae tank so I guess another bigger badder Festae.

omg thats one beautiful fish you got there. I also wanted to get some but no lucky in my Home town. Well i did came close. this dude told me that he have one and its 3" for free. so i went to his place to get it. He show me the fish, sadly it was only a 3" Red Devil. i was mad but then again it was for free ahah so i took her anyway.

Thanks, now I'm glad I saved her. I was worried I wasted my money at first but figured it was only a $20 gamble so I went for it. What a payoff it was.

You might have not thought that if you would have seen her at the lfs. She looked pathetic and miserable cowering in the upper corner of the tank all messed up.

Well...it's still healing. I have a feeling it will be less noticable once the scales grow over it but probably won't be perfect. Her fry will look good though, right?
