Picked up this guy at about 3" right after the channa ban. My favorite fish I've ever kept. Came home from work one day to find him under the tank. Due to the ban, I could never replace him.

I grew out a really nice male Trimac from Rapps around 2013, he was around 10in and really starting to be a stunner when he passed. The only thing I can figure is he got spooked somehow & smashed into the crossbar support at the top of the tank. I always encourage folks to keep Trimacs, as good as they look in pics, you just can't capture the sheen of their bodies & then that red eye!
Primus..my magma flowerhorn. Unfortunately I was fairly new and he was my crash course learning experience with hex.
I wish I was posting from my laptop, I got some live rock that turned out to have a banded bamboo catshark egg attached. Hatched him, grew him out, then sold him to my lfs with a salt pond he lived a great life there until they closed. Idk where he ended up. The owner ended up passing which I understand he was the driving force behind that place.
