echo a good buddy taught me a little trick for wind casting. I need it cause im a newb still. WHen casting into the wind put the but end of your rod in your sleeve(need a long sleeve). This makes you cast properly and help me drasticly when casting into the wind.

Give it a shot echo. It helps a newbie like me keep good form when casting. It improved my wind casting ten fold.
It's finally getting to the point where I can start doing my favorite type of fishing, which is chasing brookies and cutts in the high country. Last weekend I packed up my 2wt and a box of flies and took a 4x4 road I've had my eyes on for awhile. I found the king of all beaver ponds lol. It's really a small lake, but its only a few feet deep and was made by beavers.
Can't wait for the tribs to open up around where I live, till then, no fly fishing :/
