Very true...however at this point in my angling career I'm just focused on being as versatile of an angler as possible. Fly, spin, bait, ice, I do it all and for any species available. I feel like becoming a better conventional angler helps you become a better fly fisher, and vice versa. Also from a tying aspect, conventional lures can give you some great ideas for flys
