The gar vs the arowana. Which one would you choose?

I like gars......if youve ever looked into a 7ft alligator Gars eyes and had them look back , youd understand why.

i've kept an asian aro comm for a while now and to be honest i'd like to have both, aro comm is pretty high stress to keep but i'd like to try an aro with a gar and an armatus and see what happens

I have both, a Silver Arowana and FL Gars (and till recently Gator Gars as well).

I have voted for Aros.

However a tank with only Aros will have all the "action" only near the surface. So you need bottom-swimmers and some who swim in the middle as well. For this reason, my "community" tank has a Silver Aro, 2 FL Gars and 1 Endli.

But, if I have to choose between Aros and Gars, I choose Aros. Aros are just significantly more graceful and active. And they have a great "personality"..

i voted gars... simply because they are the ultimate predator, let alone more of a predator than any kind of arowana.

I prefer gar.
Despite both are awesome aquarium pets but i prefer gar compared to arrowana due to their features shape and their art of killing ( eating the feeder)
