Wierd. Looks like a Bass. You know, the giant black sea bass. Probably because it's mouth is open.
When its closed it doesnt.

You a right "The largest reliably record Nile perch from Lake Nasser is a fish of 176kg (392lb). " But The Guinness Book Of World Records lists an incredible 232kg Nile perch caught by local fishermen on Lake Victoria.:thumbsup:
 
i have caught some of these in lake tanganyika on a rod. man, talk about an awesome fight!! they ranged from 1.5 feet to almost three. striking force of a locomotive.
