I usually come here because reading and learning about stuff I enjoy (fish) takes me away from the crazy, busy, daily life things. It puts my mind at ease and entertains me.

ah, the joys of MFK

MFK is basically my second family, I joined when I was 13 (currently 16) and all I had was a 20 gallon tank which I got ashamed of a week later after joining, so it's more like I got my eyes duct taped open to just how much there is to fish.

Another thing is the support I've gotten with a whole lotta stuff, I suffer from several anxiety disorders and I opened up about it this thread and another time which is something that happens to me a lot and I also opened up about it as well this thread
whenever I feel down I just go back and read those 2 threads I sometimes cry while reading them, I never got that much support anywhere else some may think I'm exaggerating but I've been kicked out of other forums cause I'm Arab and that wasn't the best thing that ever happened to me and I've never been insulted on MFK

Your such a sweet girl Freezedriedbloodworms..... i am so sorry anyone would do that to you.... i enjoyed our talks so much,.... your smart witty and kind... they were foolish... and i am so glad your here..

I come here because its a whole other society! I love seeing what pix people have posted and helping with other peeps problems. I love the cheer fulbanter in the lunger even though im not a lounger user.

Its a nice change from the people on sites such as practical fishkeeping ove rin the UK who will flame you if you add more than 10 tetras to a 2x1x1 . I love the whole idea and concept of the forum.

I love the members eg. sPIZ, onion, The master, Gr8, peanut etc.. But of course my best friend over here LIZ.

This forum has helped me though some bad ties where my dad nearly died and was in hospitial, when i was having a bad patch and was very depressed. Youve all helped me through this.

Without MFK i wouldnt be keeping most of the fish i currently do, i would have more money but i wouldnt be as happy. Thank you so much for making the forum what it is everybody!

I get insulted a lot for who I am (none which is on MFK that's for sure) and it's not something I have control over, the media just wants a story to tell and the truth is not the story they're looking for and somehow it gets into peoples minds
