Sorry I can't provide any accurate measurements but the ornate is around 9-10" and the angel is "palm-sized" or the size of a saucer. Lately I noticed that the lower fin of the angel seems to have been nipped. The fin tip seems abit jagged. How do I differentiate fin nipping from say, fin rot?

Jakob;2730480; said:The easiest bichir would be Polypterus Senegalus, can reach 10" max.
Other choices would be:
Ropefish (normally reaches 16" but some people have seen them bigger)
Ornatipinnis Can reach up to 50-60cm. Really slow growers when they have reached 12".
Glad i could help.
