look what happened when i put an eletric catfish in my 6x2x2 with a bad ass jardini.

i woke up to see the jardini struggling around my tank, with the rear half of his body paralised. i gave him a helping hand and took one last picture before finishing the job of the e-cat.

sparky now lives in a 3x1.5x1.5 with 3 syno. cats and a ghost night knife fish.

that same night the e-cat got a salmon tail and black eeltail catfish and 3 Petenia splendida

The synodontis are compatible, bad idea putting him in with the knife fish, if its not now it will be dead shortly. E cats that are ill tempered as I would classify yours shouldn't be kept with many other fish in general but especially knife fish which put off a subtle electric current on their own. It is gonna piss off the E cat and the E cat has way more voltage then the knife = dead knife fish in your near future. How big is the E cat? Sucks about the Jardini looked nice but props for holding onto your Ecat instead of selling him off. I'm dying to get another large pair of E cats eventually ~Trent

there is no way that fish would have recovered, it could hardly move. it was in the tank the whole time like the first picture and couldn't even swim upright. this incident happened a while ago, the e-cat hasn't attacked ghost knife at all.

fool. all you had too do was wait for the jar to recover.

congrats you just murdered a beautiful fish!

Wow another great response.

the jar was just stunned

give it some time and he could have recovered, i would need some time to recover if got my ass knocked over by an electric eel, and those are bigger!

yes, these cats cat deliver up to 350 volts, but not at that size, that fish in the pic looks like he's no bigger than cucumber! :nilly:

I hope you waited or tried to revive him. Killed my g/f's betta the other week. It was floating upside down and everything due to water temp shock and I brought it back to life before flushing.

I think if a cat killed my jar it would have been bye bye ugly cat.. Make a lamp out of him or something.
