Awesome collection Man.. :) Been meaning to get in touch with you.. Ever get anything good out of the Triple date DDR marked Three-line 91/30? Telling ya that one was killing me.. If it was not for the New house and the apprehension on the Billboard import mark I would have so jumped all over that....

Anyhow just thought I'd say Hi ;)

Where have you been all my life?!

Hey man that Mosin is going to be the death of me yet!! Its in California but may be on its way back to me due some stupidity on my part and some unwillingness to budge on the other fellars part.

Well if the stupidity continues with that and it winds up back with ya and you still want to unload it I'll take it and give it an appreciated home where it will get shot the crap out of and be used. I can do so now and I'm not as quite anal about the Billboard. Still do not like it but damn this is a Triple date MO DDR..I'm not sure I can ***** much about a billboard import mark with what else the gun has on it. Really I'm kicking myself for just not taking it right out from ya..
 
Oh BTW JD you have got to get one of these sights. (PBS AK) They are awesome. They give you Micrometer control over the standard irons. Really the sight can be used with all types of ammo not just Subsonic. Fricking fantastic is all I can say... Best thing to happen to AK iron sights ever..

I let my C&R go last year but just sent the paperwork back in to re-up. I should hear back from the BATF in the next couple of weeks. Was going to go without but then I noticed this economy while crappy for some is just too good to the firearms collector. To many really good deals have been popping up. So back to FFL 03 for me.... Makes things so much easier.

The sight was originally used with the PBS-1 suppressor equipped AKM. It is calibrated to be used with both the standard M-43 cartridge as well as the 200 grain special purpose YS cartridge. Not all AK are alike though and not all act the same when using the 200 grain YS with PBS so the sight has built in Windage and micrometer elevation control.

What is cool though is you can also use it to fine tune any round. I've used it to successfully tune in everything from 98 grain cast to big and heavy 220 grain solids. Accuracy in general is increased by about 30% over the standard M-43 calibrated sight. Group sizes at 100 yrds go down from dinner plate to about Coffee cup with M-43 or Yugo/ wolf/ Bear M-67. With Handloads it is even smaller.

They are pricey and rather rare but if you can find one it is worth it.
Guy on Gunbroker has them right now at a rather reasonable price.. Before this guy brought them in they cost roughly about the same as a New Wasr :P
