I stopped by the local fish shop today for a supply re up and came across the Balloon Green Terror...There were only two of them in a tank and they were ten bucks each...Has anyone seen these in their area?

Not sure,they were under the balloon name.I have a few crummy pictures that I took of them that I will post in a little while.The fish would not stop moving from side to side.
We've messed up countless beautiful fish, as long as there are people buying them there will be people " creating" them.
Shortbody.. All the "balloon" variants of any fish are shortbodies. Not what I like.. but meh, there's going to be other people that like em so more power to them for liking them. In my area, they go for 15. The normal Green Terrors are always sold out upon reaching the store 
They've been around for years now, it's just a shortbody green terror. I don't see there being much of a demand in them, regular green terrors aren't that popular anyhow. I also don't see much issue with selling them, they are shortbodies, but that doesn't mean they aren't occurring within a normal batch either, they are just be sold now instead of culled.
