Theirs a wire in the middle of that? oh damn it. I live in the middle of knowwhere, how am i suppost to get the car anywhere like this?

Stuff I'm doing tommorow:
Putting old spark plugs back in
picking up/installing new wires
picking up/installing new dist cap
wondering about the rotor.... Like I think I could do it myself right?

you can do the rotor......... it just pulls off. I highly recommend replacing the plugs as well.

Plugs eh, i will see what i can do. I will post pics.

NGK;)

Even though you cleaned the plugs they probably still need to be replaced. They'll break down internally. I'd just hate to see you spend the time/money and ruin some new part with an old one. Also, when you put the plugs back, don't forget to use anti seize. Dissimilar metals with not anti seize is a bad day later on.

stuff you should do tomorrow:
1. leave the new spark plugs in.
2. go to the autoparts store and get a new distributor cap and rotor.
3. replace distributor cap and rotor and wires being VERY careful to put the spark plug wires back in exactly the same positions you pulled them out of.

i thought he already replaced them? aw man.. REPLACE THOSE SPARK PLUGS.. they are toast, but they are not the only the cause of the drivability problems you were describing.

the 4000 RPM thing is most likely an air/fuel management problem, vacuum leak, fuel pressure problem, Mass Air Flow sensor problem.. COMPUTER coax wire damage caused by your accident.. these are things you NEED your mechanic to check.

see what i mean rally? .. if they say spark it's ALWAYS something else. I SHOULD have read the first post closer..

Don't forget your dielectric grease!

If so, you're right, leave 'em. I thought he cleaned 'em.

If you get a decent set of wires it should already be in the boots, but be sure to double check.

I'm getting BOSCH wires. The lst set was car quest, they sucked, they break.
