99.9% sure it's a FL gar. it's in the pet trade (even if so in India...and it's good to see gars making their way out there...maybe i can get some of my relatives to start keeping gars out there :)) so it's more than likely a FL gar.

as mentioned above, be sure to read up more on their captive care before picking up these fish...they are quite hardy, but they aren't necessarily for beginners.
if those colorful angelfish ever become available here in the US i'm going to try to spawn them :) --

yes nice to see gars and arapaimas getting into the LFS and watching them scratch their heads wondering what to do with the Alligator Gar or the rapidly growing Gigas :(

guess i'd better take some more good quality snaps [limited to my rather basic photography skills]

why are the spotted so hard to come by? Are they just becoming extinct in the wild? Does anyone that you know of here on MFK have one?

I have one. I'm hoping to get another one from Sol if we meet up for this shortnose trade :).

Why is it in a tank overloaded with goldfish? Very risky to the gar.

so its a florida right?

no idea...LFS had him there today...ah well they dont tell me how to run my business i dont tell them how to run theirs :)

Oh, I forgot that he wasn't yours. Yes, it's a florida. Nice pattern.
