He said shutter speed was 120 - that's easy to do handheld, no need for tripod. Here's one I took a few years ago hand held with a Panasonic FZ-18 (it's just a point and shoot camera, just to show that you don't need fancy equipment for these kinds of shots).

wow. thats awesome. we all go on about our lives and yea, we know there is a moon and stars but we dont take the time to look at them and see how awesome they are, its just there. we get used to it, and its really nice sometimes to take the time and look up and admire what we see.. unless its pollution.. then i suggest going somewhere were you can see the stars and the moon, lol.
