72º in the water no matter what the temp is outside. Also, apart from water lettuce and water hyacinth, there are not any invasives that I have seen in the water. There are mosquitoes, european starlings, brown anoles, fire ants and more that are invasive but that is going to be the same most anywhere.

nah, that is further south. I have not even seen plecos in these springs.
