No offense directed Snake, just pointing out that for what it is, it takes great shots. BTW there is a huge diff between a camera that can shoot RAW and has all manual seetings when the sensor size is 1/3 of the size of an SLR.

Sensor size Canon S90 = 7.60 x 5.70 mm

ex SLR Nikon D300 = 23.6 x 15.8 mm

But like I said, I AM impressed at the performance for what it is. Great pics.

I know, I am just saying that you cant beat it for the price. D300's are almost $2000 plus another $1000 or so in glass if you want 2 decent lenses plus $3000 for a housing. So, either a little over $500 for this excellent little camera or $6000 for something that will take larger pictures, but not necessarily better pictures.

All I am saying is this camera is great for its price and especially since I am just learning, it was just what I need and I cannot say enough good things about it.
