thanx...

i don't want anyone to be offended by the things i have posted, it is just i don't need any avice on them so all the advice only posts would just clutter the thread and people that are interested in trout might miss info on their husbandry if it is full of post of "do this" or "do that"...i geuss that is what i am tring to get at...ya know...

all have have is a cell phone so i don't think so

they are more closly related to arctic char because they are char and not trout...states and their common name just clasify them into the stream trout...i am very experienced with trout and i know what i am doing...if the trout show any sighns of stress i will add a powerhead and air wand to increase the DO...right now they are doing fantastic so if it aint broke don't fix it...i am not tring to sound like an *** but i can only repeat that trout are my area of expertice so many times...i know and have forgotten more about trout then most know to start with...again i don't want to come off like this is personal to you it is just everyone keeps tring to give advise on fish that aren't in need of any "outside help"....again i can't stress this enough this is more to stop everyone from saying "do this"..."do that" when i know what i am doing...just admire the tank, pics and vids to come...i have been kepping fish for many many years so nothing is shocking to me...

im not hateing just trying to help a little they are just the hardest fish to keep alive in a tank never mind in thier native environment were most brookies that u find are stocked not even native because the natives r getting wiped out and the stocked have a little more tolarance to stress and warmer waters..

and no u dont sound like an *** u have kept the hardest fish ever in a tank longer than any one i know that has tried and even getting them to eat so congrats very nice job..

thanx...these are from a natural sutaining brook/creek...it is un-named and there are multipul age classes in the group i took these ones from...all the way down to fry...this creek is/has had no stocking they are truly wild...witch is hard to find...the wild have better colors and behaviors then stocked trout...the fight alone is diff from the rolling stocked trouts and loopers...

damn! i took a sweat vid of 2 of the brookies pound some goldfish and i can't get it from my cell phone to the internet...i need the latest quicktime or something and they want like $30 for that...it will have to wait till i get a charger for the camera

It sounds like you would have already thought about it but for everyone else reading that might add ice don't forget to make your ice with dechlorinated water... i seen a teacher do it :(

i have noticed that they are kinda like me...after they eat it is nap time...lol...they 'swim' in place in the current then strike the food...spit it out chase it down and chew it up and eat it...then after they have eatten they lay on the bottom or on the lip of the filter intake and rest in a trance like state...very interesting...

i have a sealed 2-liter bottle that i freeze and put in and refreeze...i also have a half a gallon plastic bottle that i cut so the ice can come out...i scoop the water out of the tank freeze, it dump the ice in, then scoop more out...i have also found out that putting ice directly into the tank has less of an effect then the sealed 2-liter does...takes longer to thaw and thus chills the water longer...i also have to do daily wc to keep it below 64f...i bring it down to around 48f every night and it gets to 60-64f by the next night...if i let it go longer it gets to 72f...still working on getting a mini freezer...

wow many they are absolutely amazing I hope to have them in a take someday just right now the funds don't allow for it right now. What temp to you keep them at?
