i think dwain chambers should be running for uk... he has served his time and made qualifing time, not to mention the best track athlete in the uk right now... but i geuss he did cheat, still to come back to peek of his game shows a lot! and for sod sake can u blame the man, He DID NOT KNOW to start with, then once whole world turned its back on him MIGHT have used drugs from the same nutritionalist durring his tie in NFL eu, But this was never proven and he still thoght back from yet another career treatening injury to peek fitness... think its nutts and probably more to do with his very true comments on drugs and olympics that the comity didnt like....

and i never did decide if i thought Marion Jones, Tim Montgomery of Barry Bonds were also unawhare of faul play by their staff... but i do definatly beleave Dwain was!

One of the best opening ceremonies ever!!! Running "on" air??? Who would have thought of that?

Man... those fireworks display is something to ogle at!!!

It will be hard to top this opening ceremony if you ask me.
 
I heard about china trying to make their air cleaner for the Olympics. That's just ridiculous. I heard in the opening ceremonies the announcers talking about a couple of endurance runners not running the marathon because of the air pollution. It is great for China hosting the Olympics, but bad for the athletes. They won't be able to perform at there best.
 
best...opening...EVER!!! Although I still barcelona had the best torch lighting
