Here are a few of my wonderful horses...Belgian Draft And Quarter Horses...

Beautiful animals....I'm guessing you're not in New York City :).

No Way up in the Country.. born in New York City but country life is for me!

I always went to the trails and rode in Tenneesee, we have a cabin up there..anyway I did that prolly once a year for 6-7 years. Then one year when riding I was sneezing and coughing and gettings all puffy..come to find out that somehow I developed to become allergic to horses ;(

Then you can amagine how it would be with the HAY and the Straw....

Hi Everyone,

Here are a couple pics of me and my 22 yr old TWH Bo. This past weekend we competed in "team Penning". We are not very good at it and never win anything but we sure do have alot of fun chasing those cows !! The obective of team penning is to have 3 riders cut out some cows with a certain number (the cows each have a number on their neck) and then herd those cows down to the other end of the corral and place them into a penn. You have 60 seconds to accomplish this, its very difficult but sure is alot of fun. If any other cows come into the pen with the ones you had to cut out they are called "trash" and you get disqualified. As you can guess the cows like to "scatter " and its hard to get just specific animals and not the rest of the herd etc..

OK, here is Me and Bo entering the arena with the other two riders on my team, as we walk our horses forward the announcer will call out a number and then we have to remove the 3 cows in the herd that have that number.

Bo and I are on the left (black horse and green and white striped shirt for me)

Here i have found one of the cows i need, but i had a bit of trouble getting it to go where i wanted LOL

Get along little doggie LOL

Here we had a bunch of cows get past us and since they dont have the number we need i have to cut them off before they get us disqualified. My horse is very old in horse years so i was suprised he felt energetic enough to run as fast as he did. He ran past the cows twice, you have to stay behind the cow to be able to drive it where you want, if you get infront or next to it you cant control where it goes...

Here is a little donkey, it was the cutest thing ever. It was actually allowed to participate in a run just like the horses, we didnt do too good but it was still fun and all the cameras were snapping photos of it, i just loved the ears sticking out of the hat LOL
