yes they eat about the same.. because their metabolism is slower.. at least once they are out of the growing stage.. and they are very laid back compared to light horses... and u get nose bleeds from up there.. but you get a great view..haha.. only teasing.. the one thing different is the farrier charges more since they have bigger and heavier feet.. get your pic up when you can... and thanks very much.. Big joey is such a ham..very smart too..

i say that Ash, because since kindergarden i wanted a horse,...but instead at a ripe old age i ended up with the farm and a herd.. you just never know how your dreams come true until your standing there with the hay fork... haha...

The grey's name is Navarro, getting up there in years. I've had him since he was 17 and he's now 22. I barrel raced with him for awhile and he did pretty well for being a racking horse. The sorrel is Flame, I've had her since the day she was weened. She's a QH related to Impressive (unfortunately), never really done much with her outside of trail riding and lawn ornament work tho.

I had a horse a several years ago but we had to move so I sold her. I'll see if I can find my pics again.

Beautiful horses......wow... here is my mare out of impressive when she was younger..

Oh cool Liz, your mare is gorgeous. So shiney in that pic, really highlights her great conformation. Did you get her tested for Hypp? I contemplated breeding my girl so got the strand test, came back carrier so no foal in her future but fortunately she's never exhibited symptoms.
