Oh cool Liz, your mare is gorgeous. So shiney in that pic, really highlights her great conformation. Did you get her tested for Hypp? I contemplated breeding my girl so got the strand test, came back carrier so no foal in her future but fortunately she's never exhibited symptoms.

yes she is HYPP postitive .. with her last foal.. she started shaking and trembling and thats when our vet diagnosed the HYPP... she has no sign at all after the one episode.. the vet told us never feed her anything rich in potassium, such as alfaha hay, just give her grass hay... so since then all is well...
