Ok, folks, here's the rules:

Only legit oddities and out-of-the-ordinary items allowed. No fakes.

You must have owned the item at one point in time. No posting other people's stuff.

Keep the chit-chat to a minimum, we have a "Look What I Found" thread for that. If you're not sure about your oddity, post it in that thread and we'll have a look-see.

Keep posting without pics to a minimum. No talking about an owned item without a pic.

All pics must include:
- Name identifying what it is
- Where it was acquired and when
- How it was acquired (IE purchased, caught, ran over, etc)

Aaaaand go! :headbang2

Or a small Elk...

Here is present a student brought me - her family traps and I said I wanted a Bobcat skull for the classroom. For some reason I burst out laughing when she walked up to my desk and handed it to me in a ziplock bag. :nilly:

I cooked it in the pressure cooker for about an hour (outside, it stunk) and the meat fell right off. I've heard people say Bobcat is edible, but I sure wouldn't want to eat it.

In my hand is a Snapping Turtle skull, probably the thing I am most proud of, because I found and stripped it myself. The big thing on the right is one of those "DANGER, THIN ICE" signs, which me and my friends found at the bottom of a lake. I guess they werent lying. Aside from animal stuff, I also have a fishing reel and some really really reeeeeaaaally old rowboat parts I found in the lake.

Tomorrow, I will empty my wildlife artifacts drawer and scatter everything out and take a picture of it all spread out. I cant tell you guys what EVERYTHING is, and where it's from, because it'd take a loooong time to type it all.
