I have one....
3 guys entered a video store and wanted to purchase a video together.
They all had $10 each, they picked a video that was priced at $30.
The clert spoke to his manager and the manager said he should offer them a $3 discount.
The clerk thought he would offer them a $1 discount and pocket the $2.
So the 3 guys agreed to the discount. So if you divide $30 by 3, you get $10 each. Minus the $1 off for each person. That equals $9 each.
$9 x 3 equals $27. Add the $2 the clerk was pocketing, that equals $29.
Where did the extra dollar go?

they are actually paying $9.66 each. You are meant to minus the dollar, then divide by 3.
It might actually be better saying the riddle to someone, than putting it into writing. Makes it harded to work out not having the figures infront of you.
