Can I ask what folks like about Ely's? I live like 10min from it. Have gone several times but don't feel like there is anything special about it.

Never been there but read that it was pretty good somewhere on here. Would like to know what everyone thinks about it!

I have been wanting to take a drive and pay them a visit after I saw photos of the place on their website.

My experience is that the owner is a really nice guy. The place looks like a tiny hole in the wall place (look at google maps) but its amazing how many fish they have. I find their stock (non-fish) items to be over priced because my guess is that there is very little turn over. I have seen stingrays, eels, arrowanas, and some other stuff that I guess is "oddball" but I don't keep a variety of fish so it is hard to say if their stock of fish is great.
