The Ornate

wow he looks awesome, i've always wanted one.. how much did you buy him for at 2"???
my lfs won't sell any that are less than 5"
 
Very nice bichir:thumbup:: Ornates always been my fav bichir. Bought a 6" bout 8 yrs ago. Kept him in my 120g till bout 12". Then decided to keep different stock in my 120, so transferred to 350g my friend n I set up. The ornate is a fat beast now, over 18". Dont think he would hav reached that size in the 120. Eats like a pig, n hoping to get 20" from him still.They such a sweet colorful looking FW fish!!!

If I remember, I got him for $13, I think.
