I am sorry for your loss. I know things like this can really depress the ***** out of you in the hobby. Just take a break and relax, I suggest. You gave him a good life, and that is what is important.
 
im so sorry for your loss-he was so handsome! its been a bad week for fish-ive lost all but 3 of my africans to bloat-i dont ever want to keep africans again lol..

i think im just about as disgusted as you are this week..
 
That fish was a looker! Sorry about you're losing him. Get another soon. I think it helps to concentrate on raising another soon after losing one.
 
Thanks everyone. I probably won't give up on the hobby, but I definitely won't be getting any new fish for a while.
 
Sorry for your lost dude. i remembering seeing those photos of him a while back and thinking wow that's a nice fish.
