Thanks Josh but I honestly feel no apology or explanation is necessary. It was just in fun, and nobody got their feelings hurt over it, except for the obvious handful of members who just had to whine and have their way.

I thinks its a sad day in the forum world where threads about being silly and having fun get locked just because some people cant handle it and it "annoys" them.

As I mentioned elsewhere, MFK is awesome, but its just not the same anymore. After this, I've come to realize how close-minded some members can be and it really ruins the whole experience.

It's not that I hated the team idea, it's just that it was getting annoying to see it at the top of the "New Posts" list. You can have fun in the lounge, it just affected the New Posts area, which is where MFKers look first.

Awesome...

That is the word that describes MFK and all of its members. Team awesome was to more or less pay a tribute to everything MFK has given us and all of the incredible members. A vast knowledge about my favorite hobby compiled into one group of brilliant people. It doesn't get any better than that. In my opinion, everyone on MFK is awesome.​

It was intended for the team to stay in the lounge and essentially not affect MFK in other areas of the forum. Unfortunately it overflowed into other areas where it wasn't wanted or needed, and it made some people upset. In this case, I never wanted to do harm to any alternate areas or to any members. It was intended as fun, but when it becomes a problem that affects members and the informational forums, the team needs to end.

I hope everyone understands that we never meant to upset or annoy anyone.

it was flooding a fish forum
if it would have stayed in one thread at the top,who cares.
but when you go in other threads and see team crap its annoying.
and like i said,you have no clue how much work that added for the mods "but i think you only care about you".
and its funny how you talk like those 2 days that thread was alive were better then any 2 days for ya here on mfk without teams.

do you know why when you click oddballers website it went no where? thats exactly where teams are going,no where,it was all a joke,not a contest who can post the most.

im on no-ones side here... but i really see no problem with teams/groups/clubs....
reason being... is cuz we live through it in our eveyday life... ie: businesses such as home depot/staples/office depot/lowes or ralphs/vons/albertsons/stater bro's or how about sports, boxing/nba/nfl/nha/mlb/college hoops... those are all clubs/groups/teams/businesses..... uniteing as 1 for friendship and toghetherness!!!
but as far as team awsome dont hate them cuz yes they are a team or whatever you wanna call it... all they did was promote like all other teams/clubs/groups.... by all means... i know they know they werent trying to take over MFK... because MFK made them and promoted them for a while,, im mean theres proof look @ their threads where it all began... what 3000 responses & 60000 views!!! thats what makes MFK significant from other forums.. they are the best.. oh wait we are the best.... lol.... but once again im on no ones side... just putting my 2pennys inn... so pls dont get mad @ meee!! just to put the record straight for everyone on MFK.....
