The poop machine..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its a shame to give one beautiful looking pleco away, but in your case I guess it has to go if it is wreaking havoc. Hope you resolve your problems.

yeah i got 2 of em in my 125 and 1 in my 75 and the 2 in my 125 poop like crazy.they eat the driftwood all day also like yours.my worst pooper and eater is my flowerhorn though.what a messy and over eating glutton he is!

He does have a nice pattern. I have a 8" common in my Piranha 90 gallon tank and it craps all the time. White gravel too. It shows up so much. I am thinking of getting rid of it. I like the new avatar by the way.

i really dont mind i guess-it gives me reason to clean the tank and do water changes.at least i am not cleaning a clean tank:ROFL:

I think it looks like a rubbernose rubberlipped or bulldog all three are the same just different names I guess wherever you come from. The only thing is the color. Mine is grey with black spots not a big crapper but I don't have driftwood.

those are all different species.

I've moved this guy to a tank without driftwood (accept for some that won't sink) we will see what happens. He is really cool looking but not worth the mess. I should honestly take a video of his poop.. When I was pythoning it out it I couldn't see to the other end of the tube it was that bad. I have been doing waterchanges on his tanks every 2-3 days, I can't believe my fish will even live in the conditions.

lol.. i have a petsmart pleco that poops like mad too :D

gravel vac one day, and the next, **** all over the gravel again.. it actually is so much that it looks like the poop IS the gravel..

I have a 4" Albino Chocolate who festoons my entire tank... Literally hours after vacuuming he's draped it all over the driftwood and littered the tank floor (also white rocks).
