Its going to be awhile...Orinos grow slow imo. You'll probably have to cut back on feed the azuls aswell to help the orinos to catch up.

I'm also cutting back on the feedings for the azuls/kelberi in the hopes that the orinos/monos catch up.

In my very short period of experience, it seems that the constant supply of feeders will help them grow fast but its a PAIN to convert them off of live after that. My occels caught up to my azuls in less than a month (about 2-3" growth) but now they're picky as heck and only eat feeders.

I'm having some pretty good growth atm with just blood worms. Going to try shrimp later this week.

yeah i think might start giving these guys feeders. as i mentioned earlier, theyre not too crazy about bloodworms. i tried shrimp, but they didnt like it. i dont think it will be too hard to break them off live afterwards. even with my pickiest bass, i usually have them off live in less than 2 weeks...

Same here. I did bloodworms for about a day, then i said screw it........ feeders it is. i need to blow these guys up to hopefully slam them in with my 8" Orino and 6" Azul... otherwise they will be in the grow out tank for a LONG time:D.

I think Pbass are easy to get off live foods (considering the time it took to get my old Armatus off live foods:WHOA:)... a lil starving for a hungry garbage-disposal always worked for me... the longest was about 5 days till they gave in.

I just picked up one of theose Intermedia/Azul/Orinos (to small to ID) at a solid 1".
I think it is an Orino but it is a gamble... you win some and you loose some its part of the game:D

one of my orinos is a beast hes probly tripled in size since he came in hes a good 2'' and is a bout 3/4 of an '' tall and a half '' thick
they do grow very slow though last batch i had took 6 months to hit 6 1/2'' and i recieved em at 3''
