The Rapps Orino thread!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that would be like me selling a sick fish to a fellow mfker and say oh well when i put the fish in the box it was ok and it lived for a couple hours after arriving so its buyers fault. that would be ludacris

Why are the orinos so exciting? I thought that orinocensis was one of the more common species.

hahah noooooooo quite the opposite. these have been extremely hard to find. and they are one of the best looking cichla out there :)

Just got home to see the little new ones...I didn't know that Orinos (when small) have that black solid line across their bodies.

It seems like one of the species names I see most often. Good luck with them

They are more common than azuls, kelbs, interms, etc. but that doesn't mean there isn't a desire for them. They are, IMO, one of the best looking cichla species out there. Monos and ocells are very common and yet you could end up with a very desirable fish.

All my cichla (monos, ocells, kelbs, tems, and azuls) get the verticle bar when stressed. It's never as well defined as tems, azuls or pinima but its still there.
