That's all I'm doing for now. I've got some of that jungle ich guard if they're worse tomorrow.

never use meds thats just my expereince with small cichla and ich.. i'll let you guys know what i would do.. i know theirs alot of controversy on wether or not RO-DI helps cichla or makes a "difference" but with all my small cichla i used RO-DI salt and high temp and it was gone in a day. no joke. I used meds in the past. it killed my cichla used low ammounts of copper *dead next day* ICH meds.. no good. just 2 cents.

How much salt do u add? I added 3 tablespoons in my 20 gallon tank. Is this good enough?

at leats 4 maybe five and im not talking lil sponfulls they have to be heaping spoonfulls

I put in about 4 TBSP of salt to my tank, the temp is around 87F, good strong filter and a high power air pump/airstone. I keep live guppies in there all the time so they can eat at their leisure. I tried bloodworms and brine shrimp with mine and they were not really eating it like I thought they would. At least with eating live they'll hopefully grow a little quicker. The guppies are eating the bloodworms so at least the little bass are getting some of that nutrition.

Well after a couple days, all is well on my end here. I thought I lost one but it must have been adjusting still to the environment and lodged itself under a log; serves me right for not doing my investigative work. The ick is almost gone and the little orinos are gorging themselves on freeze dried bloodworms. No medication here, I just tossed them into my little heavily planted tank and upped the water temp a bit. :)

My three have ich. Showed up yesterday morning and I did a 25% water change, and added salt and have the temp at 86. They have been eating blood worms slowly and going to try again today before I do another 25% water change. They are all swimming around the 20gal tall looking for food so I hope mine are working through the ich.

one of my orino's also came with some ich, all i did was raise the temp and this morning gone, no more ich and feeding on bloodworms
