guns are sold at gunshows all the time. How do u think our goverment funds some there stuff they sell rifles and such in bulk to dealers. who in turn sell at gunshows. I use to have a russain and chinese sks both were used military stock

Only good thing about the AK 47 is that is will rarely jam, dirt, mud, sand etc it will keep on fireing but has terrible acuracy. Most russians hate the old Ak47, the newer rifles to come out of izhmash are 10 times better.

Im not the biggest fan of Rusky weapons but they are reliable, ive seem them being tested in mud, water, sand, being driven over in trucks and they worked fine.

Semi of course, no new machine guns for us lowly civilians made after 1986.

It's interesting that the rifle is semi.I would have thought that the organizations that were purchasing them would nave wanted full auto.

Isn't the wood on this one lighter in colour than usual?

The stain on the wood varies from factory to factory as well as when the rifle was produced. Some AKMs came with that dark red wood and some came with the honey blonde colored like mine.

Not bull ****, I have a certificate of authenticity. The weapon was sold by the Israelis to be imported into the US. Legally of course. I own ZERO illegal weapons (at least in my state) and would NEVER touch an illegal gun.

Ive got the new one too...AK-103 made at the Ishvesk Arsenal in Russia!

The original receiver was torch cut for importation reasons and rebuilt on a semi receiver here in the US.

Exactly! Reading through the story you posted I kept hearing cash register sound effects as I got further in. Modding that gun would be a crime against humanity.
