The smallest gar

Boulengerella?! But they aren't ancient fishes...I'll keep they when you will say to me: no, your tank is too small for EVERY gar. So...can I keep a gar (one of the smallest species) in my tank?

shortnosed kill themselves because they are skittish and spook easily. which means they often smash into the side of the tank and break their backs. a florida gar will get 18-24". no on the jardini, they are to aggressive to be kept with gars. polys are fine.
what about "rocket gars" i know their not a gar but what type of fish are they thats what theyre sold as here and im not talkin fresh water barracuda even tho u could get one of those theyre crazy. they sit there and just tick waitin for sumthin to hit the water 
but the rocket gars are silver and i think they only reach like 12 inch u can keep like a bunch of them they kinda shoal its cool aka hujet pike characin theyre cool and arent aggresive towards nething it cant fit in its mouth actually my florida gar ate a 5" one when he was 10" seariously consider it

i hate 'false gars' just for the fact that they are sold as true gars and alot of people think that they are true gars just because the name gar is in the common name. needlefish, tetras, and characins are not related to gars in any way. so if he wanted a false gar why would he post in the gar forum? no offence.
damn snappy dude clean the sand out of ur creaveses plz .... im just sayin since he cant house and real gars in his tank so get a "rocket gar". and he wants gar like behavior they behave the same sit their until sumthin moves then strike....... so i just thought id give him some ideas..
