mines a girl as well. i think the girls are more aggressive. i only say this because a friend of mine has two girls and two boys and the girls are viscous and the boys are tame. mine is tame for the time being. shes never snapped at anyone.

Hi.

Well it depends on how old your turtles are, moreover the Chelydra(common snapping turtle) is believe to be slightly more agressive than Macroclemys(Alligator snapping turtle). Anyway dont be so overconfident specially with big turtles, it doesnt matter you think they are "tamed".

He's not mine, but here's my buddy Steve (named after Steve Irwin as we acquired him right after his death). He's one of the hatchery "pets" where I used to work (among 3 other snappers, 10 sturgeon, a couple tiger salamanders, and other various display fish). I threw the Gatorade bottle in a couple pictures as I couldn't find a tape measure at the time, so I used it to estimate his size later.
