the tank size thread to end all

bump for any other comments or things i should need to know?

was already planning on an INDOOR koi pond (in an outside shed), ease of maintenance would be me planning these filters to be close to easy cleaning etc.

anyone see any complications of keeping these two ponds adjacent? there would be a few foot walkway in between the two for maintenance purposes, just that one of the ponds would require a heater and the other wouldnt, but the koi pond would be larger by far, so possilby on end of each other instead of adjacent.

ive already asked many times about the dynamics of the koi pond, such as shed heating, insulation, temperature control etc.

Not really since no one is responding LOL :grinno:

Honestly I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to get out of everyone here...
In my latest post basslover, im stating that now that I know the facts (ie. size of pond i need to house one for life/tankmates etc.), im asking if anyone would foresee any complications with housing this pond near a koi pond (with the assumption that the RTC will not be jumping into the koi pond). the only issues i see is of a larger area to house both ponds, but ill cross that bridge when im ready for the build

RTC's arn't really known for jumping from tank to tank...

There really shouldn't be any problems... except the heating bill
only the RTC pond will need heating. should i be bracing for like several hundred a month range?

So, a 9' diameter 200G stock tank would work?
Cause I'm buying one of these for my channel cat, and I've always wanted an RTC..
