I think it's great your 12 years old and into fish keeping.
This is a great site with a lot of konwledgeable fish keepers that are always ready to help young or new members improve, unfortunatly there are always a few members that offer little usefull information with there "funny" or sarcastic comments. One of the posters mentioned this hobby being a lot of trial and error which is true and I can tell you from my experiance I've failed many times along the way and learn somthing new almost every day. Enjoy your fish, continue to reasearch and ask all the questions you want Happy Birthday and welcome to MFK.
Ok im kind of scared to say this but im only 12 and only have 3 years of fish experience. This does not mean im bad at taking care of fish because when I turned 10 I pretty much owned the fish and tank. I take good care of its residents and get to decide what fish go in the tank as long as their community fish and if you have a problem with me being just 12 then there must be something wrong with you.
I can't tell it by your post. Your words are complete and either you are good at typing or you check your spelling which is more then what some adults do.
Actually, I do have a problem with you being 12... I just turned 45 two days ago... to be 12 again(some jealousy going on here).
Age is just a number... what you feel inside is what counts... heck i'm in my 30's and still feel like a kid most of the time, probably act like it too...
age dont matter as long as you act as an adult, even some adults here act like kids.
good for you at your age into fish keeping takes out the edge of being teen and learn some responsibility, when i was your age i think i was just getting started to raise betta to fight for lunch money LOL, soon next thing u know i was breeding them too to sell the "future unbeateable" bettas and i was doing good with that, kept me off the street and drugs.
