Thank you...
I thought maybe there was a general understanding, like in the Non-Asian Aros, Jardini was on average the greatest aggressor.

So it is safe to assume, that the "Mean Green" myth is just that, a Myth?
This jar in my tank use to terrorise the bigger asia aros in there. Thus I remove it from there and house it by itself for about 2 months and then I re-introduce it back into the com tank. Ever since, it's not attacking any other aros in there for over a month and doing very well with the rest.

Some will say green is very aggressive, yes and no for me for I have problem keeping that green in that tank too initially after 3 tries it finally settle down inside.

Infact, currently there're 3 alpha in that tank. The SR, bigger Green and the G2.

The 3 alpha.

I see, thank you again Koji...

It must be spectacular when you have that many Alpha Aro in the tank at once...the tension must be high at feeding time...

Currently I am raising 3 silvers 9-10" right now. It is very interesting to see them joust for the Alpha spot... They always seem to have Odd one out, it's like 2 and 1 always...never all 3 together for long...seems it is a different 2 also never the same 1 alone...fun to observe...

Very nice Aros you have there as always...

I feel silvers are the easiest to com. I have a com tank of them too. Com them since they are 5-6 inches. Currently each are hitting 19-20 inches since feb this year.

Beautiful tank of silvers...
You have 8 Silvers in there, and a Arapaima and Gourami?
And all the eyes look good too...

I just have 3 Silvers and 2 Gourami that I just put in there today...
The Gourami are hiding for their life...
2-3" Gourami and 9-10" Silvers maybe a little to big of size difference...Aros are chasing them into hiding...

I've got my silver, black and jar all together and a w/c silver growing out. grated there are other tank mates, working so far...

I should have 10 for I loan two to my friend who need them to even out his com tank aggression. The gourami is doing fine in there minding their own business. The arapaima will be gone soon to an educational farm for young kids to learn about them.:)

So do you think 3 is to little amount for a Aro Comm?

In com, the more the merrier. Once the com settle down, you can slowly decrease the amount of fish in there as they grows bigger.
