jcardona1, how can you tell some of "rio negro" like Venezuelian orinos from Brazilian orinos??

^ just like that, thats how you tell a rio negro apart from venz/columbian IMO. rio negros have super thick, perfect round gold rings and three clean round ocelli. venz/columbians typically dont have this thick gold ring, and the spots appear a little "messy" and can sometimes be a diamond shape...

i think most of these guys do catch/release. these pics are from a forum, all in spanish. theyre pretty serious about conserving the pbass populations
