The ]v[onster has begun!!

Always evolving. Picked up some new plants. The red one was $5 and broke into 5 plants. hehe. Much more red than in the pics. The bromiliad(sp?) was $2. How could i resist? Some cat tails for free plus duckweed(cant get it to continue to grow, burst then all dies then burst) and trimmings from plants from my shrimp tank.

Looks great! Is that a Mother-in-law's Tongue in pics 4 and 5? How is it growing for you in such a humid environment? I thought they preferred an arid environment

Is all the moss live, or is it dried up?

good eyes. It is mother in laws tounge and it seems to be doing great!! Only a few plants have failed.

Most moss is semi alive. Some is pretty dry but still alive. I try to spray them often.

Good stuff! I've been spending a lot of time working with South/Central American plants for some of my enclosures lately, you should look at putting some Swiss Cheese Plants in there (monstera deliciosa), they grow quick and look great

Does the caiman spend any time in burrows? It would be awesome to make some sort of hide holes near the waters edge.

wow 10 days....

Sry man didnt realise you posted. Ill have to look for that. Im trying to find some new ground cover for added hiding spots for other animals Im planing on adding. Skink that was added has not been seen. Hope its alive.

I rarely see her in the burrows but right before I typed this I did see her in one. Head up staring at me.

The heater in the rear pond HAS been replaced. It is half tucked into the filter to attempt to protect it.

Most small insects are gone. Dunno why. Iv added some attempting to build some back up. Cat tails in the rear pond has died but im leaving it hoping it comes back. one in the front pond has had 2 new shoots jump up!!
