Does anyone else feel like watching the latest season of walking dead is like watching the old school Dragon Ball Z cartoons, where it takes them a whole episode to talk about one trivial matter or do one little thing like give each person their meds...

Yes. In anime I think they call these kinds of episodes "fillers" but I will admit I didn't anticipate the governor changing his ways or at least soul searching or what ever. But that and him running into his own zombie trap and encountering his old goon I did not see coming. Agreed they need to do something because I'm almost over it. Feels like I waited forever just to be disappointed.

I haven't watched the episode but you guys have bummed me out. Maybe I'll just watch em both Sunday

That might not be a bad idea. It would have been pretty good for the the first 1/2 of the episode, but it seemed like they could have done more in one episode.

I like the show a lot, just this episode was a little disappointing. I do realize that it is a bit of balance between going off in 10 different directions and having the pace be too slow, but I think it was definitely on the side of too slow. One thing that has kept me with the show is that they tend to follow a couple of slow episodes with one filled with twists and action.

They seem to be doing a lot more introducing characters(usually pretty minor) and killing them off in the same episode this season.

the thing keeping me with the show is that i'm already invested. hard for me to stop after following from the beginning.

this episode was ok but I agree on it being slow. I keep complaining about the prison because it is getting really old and dragging

I enjoyed last week's southpark way more

I was a big fan of the show but I kinda lost interest. They shouldve wrapped things up with the Governor last season but it keeps dragging on. The show is better when the zombies are the main villain, not other humans.

Plus im tired of them staying at the prison. The zombies arent dangerous anymore when theyre behind the fence and theyre so easy to kill. Its like theyre not even dangerous anymore. They just walk up and calmy stab them in the head like it was nothing. They need to make the zombies a threat every show.

But instead they come up with this flu storyline thats not as intetesting. They keep introducing new characters on the show so they can become zombies that the main characters from season 1 can kill off. Walking Dead had potential to be a great show but they really lost steam after season 3.

speaking of the zombies, remember in season 1 when glen and rick covered themselves in zombie gut and then walked by the zombies unseen? why have that not utilized that trick again? with the amount of zombies they have and the number of times they expose themselves to zombies, i'm nor sure why they haven't evented a zombie meat suit?

That was one of Carol's ideas but since she was kicked out she kept it to herself.

nah, it was Tdog's idea. everyone just forgot about how great an idea it was. and since he's gone the idea is gone with him

but seriously, that's an example of what I mean by the poor writing

it's been mentioned here before about them being more seasoned zombie killers now. they are dealing with the threats better and have become good at killing them. makes sense

the lost in interest came when I decided to read the comics. been slowly going downhill since

it's happened again too one time I think it was michonne. she had a zombie on top of her and she slit it's throat or something and all this blood and stuff poured onto her. she then became invisible to the zombies. but everyone just seems to not care about great ideas

if it was me, I wouldn't step foot outside the fence without taking a shower using zombie blood

Yea, but the fans would complain that the storylne repeats itself too much.

Personally, I don't mind the governor. It gives a break from the same old zombie zombie zombie day in and day out. It's also good to have a villain to focus on. I mean who remembers what the last zombie looked like that Rick killed?
