Great ending.

I want to see how Hershel reacts after his whole family was shot after trapping them and feeding them.

I cant understand why they just dont go find their own farm and build a secure compound.

^^Cause that doesn't make for good TV drama/conflict...

Who saw the "trailer" for the next episode during Hell on Wheels? Do you think Hershel knew or not??

Remember that in the original Comic Shane didn't make it this far as he was way overboard for the group. It is interesting to see the different dimension the Tv series is taking from the original comic, though. My kids love it and are prepared for the Inevitable Zombie apocalypse

See, I was right about Shane...

I often find that Comic Book series are a much more accurate portrayal of real life than TV series...

I don't she could have done it... plus I think Rick feels guilty that she became a zombie... so he wanted it all to fall on him
 
Yeah,she probably couldn't have done it but it would have made for a more powerful ending to the episode...She has closure now, at least, but she will probably harbor ill feelings toward Rick for killing her child.
